This house was designed to the Passivhaus Low Energy Building Standard ensuring warmth, comfort and a healthy environment year round while reducing the strain of increasing energy costs. Navigating tight site restrictions and performance requirements the Flers House elegantly utilises all available space, acutely pivoting off of the road with an accessible garage and boardwalk entry before opening to the high gabled living space that looks to Mt. KauKau and Wellington Town belt.
